Reflexology – Natural Support for Health and Inner Balance

Reflexology is a manual therapy based on applying precise pressure to specific points on the feet, hands, or face that correspond to various organs and systems within the body. The treatment supports the body’s natural ability to regenerate, improves circulation, reduces stress levels, and promotes overall well-being. It can be used as preventive care or as a complementary approach alongside conventional therapies.

Reflexology does not diagnose or treat diseases in the medical sense, but it works holistically — by stimulating the nervous, hormonal, and immune systems. The therapy is non-invasive, gentle, and suitable for individuals of all ages.

What to Expect During a Session

A reflexology session is conducted in a lying or semi-reclining position, in a calm and quiet environment. The therapist applies gentle but specific pressure techniques to reflex zones, most commonly on the feet. No machines or sharp tools are used during the session. A typical session lasts 45 to 60 minutes.

Contraindications for Reflexology

While reflexology is a safe therapy, there are situations where it may not be recommended, including:

  • acute inflammation or infection

  • deep vein thrombosis or advanced varicose veins

  • open wounds, fractures, or foot injuries

  • first trimester of pregnancy (medical clearance required)

  • contagious skin conditions

If in doubt, please consult with your therapist before the session.

What is reflexology

Reflexology is a focused massage therapy that stimulates the entire nervous system. It impacts the most stressed parts of the body and has a powerful effect that supports the self-healing process.

Reflexology is based on the interconnections of the human body. Our skin is connected to our internal organs, and by carefully applying pressure we can treat various problems and organs by "getting to them from the outside."
