Graduated from the Medical University in Wroclaw in 2009 and finished her specialty training in neurology in 2016.
Dr Herrera-Sokołowska also passed an international exam of the European Board of Neurology in Copenhagen and obtained a scholarship from European Academy of Neurology at St. Georges Hospital, London (stroke treatment ward).
In 2015 she completed an internship at the Sleep Disorder Clinic (Neurology and Neurosurgery Institute, Mexico).
Registered with the GMC since April 2019.
On a daily basis she works at a neurology ward of the Regional Specialist Hospital in Wroclaw and consults the patients in both the hospital and private outpatient department.
Constantly develops her knowledge and qualifications by taking part in numerous courses in Neurology and related areas.
At the moment Dr Herrera-Sokołowska works towards obtaining an EEG license from the Polish Society of Clinical Neurophysiology.
A member of the Polish Society of Neurology, Polish Society of Sleep Research, European Academy of Neurology and International Movement Disorders Society.
Also, as a clinical lead, she helps to create educational platform within neurology – eBrain.
